
Clayton’s Inline Router provides the power and control needed for trimming and routing along fixtures. Carbon fiber, aluminum and other substrates generate large amounts of airborne dust and pose a serious risk to workers and aerostructures; this router collects the airborne dust and helps reduce chips and debris. The shroud connects to a portable or central vacuum, and the tool is a standard in NAVAIR and USAF maintenance kits.

It is available as the shroud alone (no router) or as a complete router with a 0.9 HP motor at 23,000 RPM and a 1/8in guide fitted. Every unit includes a 2′ x 1″ vacuum hose whip, a swivel adapter for connection to a 1″ hose, a Positive Lock hose fitting, depth adjustment and router guides with skirt.
A set of interchangeable router guides is offered (Outer Diameter / Inner Diameter): 1″/25/32″, 3/4″/21/32″, 5/8″/17/32″, 1/2″/13/32″, 7/16″/11/32″, 3/8″/9/32″ and 5/16″/1/4″, plus 2 locking nuts. Warning: never exceed the maximum operating speed of your abrasive.
