Clayton’s 3″ (75 mm) Universal Radial Shroud Wide is designed for 3M Bristle Discs or cutoff wheels. The wide version holds 2–4 bristle discs and ships in black carbon fiber. The shroud does not obscure the working edge of the abrasive, so users can easily see the work surface.
Clayton’s 3″ (75 mm) Universal Radial Shroud Wide is designed for 3M Bristle Discs or cutoff wheels. The wide version holds 2–4 bristle discs and ships in black carbon fiber. The shroud does not obscure the working edge of the abrasive, so users can easily see the work surface.
It fits any tool with a 1/4″ collet – straight or right-angle sanders, grinders and routers – and swivels freely around the shaft so the hose can be repositioned with ease. Accepts up to 4 bristle discs with a 3/8″ center hole, with a Positive Lock hose fitting that won’t pull free. Works with the grinders you already own, up to 25,000 RPM – no modifications required.
Available as shroud only (no grinder) or bundled with a Dotco right-angle or straight air grinder. Every shroud includes a mandrel, a 2′ x 1″ hose whip, and a swivel adapter for connection to a 1″ vacuum hose.
