It is a standard in NAVAIR and USAF maintenance kits.
Every shroud kit includes a Standard Shroud, a Spanner Shroud, a Router Adapter Ring for depth control, a 2′ x 1″ vacuum hose whip and a swivel adapter for connection to a 1″ vacuum hose. The product is available in two shroud configurations (Standard, or Standard + Spanner) and either with or without the Dotco 12L2580-01 router motor.
Features: precision-finished anodized aluminum housing; shroud does not obscure visibility; Positive Lock hose fitting (hoses won’t pull free); router adapter for depth control; polyethylene sole plate that will not damage surfaces; designed in cooperation with NAVAIR. Replacement parts are available separately: Router Adapter Ring (683-0022), Polyethylene Standard Sole Plate (602-0024) and Polyethylene Spanner Sole Plate (602-0021).
