The Hippo is a stainless steel, air-powered reversible drum pump that mounts on a closed-head drum to turn it into a high-powered drum vac for picking up floor spills or transferring liquids. Pair it with any 5, 30, 55, or 110 gallon closed-head drum.
The flow-thru pump has no moving parts and can fill or empty a 55 gallon drum in less than 2 minutes. It is intended for recovery of hydraulic oils, coolants and other non-combustible fluids, and is built from solid stainless steel for years of reliable service.
The unit features a FILL/EMPTY knob to select filling or emptying, an ON/OFF ball valve to start the flow of compressed air, and an Auto Shutoff Float that stops liquid flow into the drum when it is full. The Kit configuration adds a vacuum hose, 2-piece wand, squeegee floor tool and crevice tool. Drums, drum dollies, vacuum hoses and a cleanup toolkit are available as separate accessories.
