A compact electric articulated tapping machine for M2-M14 steel threads and up to M16 in aluminum, with three speed configurations.
The Roscamat Mosquito is designed for precise tapping at production and assembly stations. A radial arm joins a tilting arm balanced by a pneumatic spring, keeping the tapping head perpendicular to the work surface. Its high-frequency motor and variable-speed control allow the spindle speed to be matched to the thread, while tap holders connect through a quick-change system.

The Mosquito VH configuration has an articulated head that can be set in four positions at 90° intervals and can operate in both rotational directions.
In the ENGRAS configuration, the cutting-oil reservoir is located inside the arm. Lubrication time is adjusted through the control on the electronic-board cover.
A display on the radial arm records the total number of tapped threads and a partial count that restarts with each power cycle.
