Roscamat 500 Long-Reach Pneumatic Articulated Tapping Machine

A long-reach pneumatic articulated tapping machine for M2-M24 steel threads and up to M27 in aluminum, with seven modules and a 2,255 mm reach.

Overview

The Roscamat 500 provides the performance of the Roscamat 400 system with longer arms and a larger working area. Its structure includes a radial arm, lockable elbow joint, tilting arm and a head carrying the pneumatic motor. The air-service unit includes a filter, regulator and lubricator, while seven quick-change modules provide speeds from 90 to 2,100 rpm.

Structure, Configurations and Options

V / RHM / RHC system

The head system supports multiple working positions while maintaining perpendicularity to the reference surface.

Tap holders

The system accepts tap holders with or without a safety clutch. The Ø19 coupling covers M2-M16, while the Ø31 coupling covers the M14-M27 working range on this machine.

Optional automatic lubrication

The compressed-air system operates a lubricant reservoir and regulating valve, allowing the flow rate to be adjusted as tapping starts.
