Roscamat 400 Modular Pneumatic Articulated Tapping Machine

Overview

The Roscamat 400 combines a 360° radial arm with a tilting arm that maintains perpendicularity to the reference surface. Its pneumatic motor includes an air-service unit with a filter, regulator and lubricator. Seven quick-change modules provide speeds from 90 to 2,100 rpm for matching torque and spindle speed to the thread.

Structure, Configurations and Options

Roscamat 400 VH orientable head

The VH configuration has an articulated head that can be positioned in four 90° increments.

Tap holders

The system accepts tap holders with or without a safety clutch. The Ø19 coupling covers M2-M16, while the Ø31 coupling covers the M14-M27 working range on this machine.

Optional automatic lubrication

The compressed-air system operates a lubricant reservoir and regulating valve. Oil or fluid flow can be adjusted as tapping starts.
