The next generation of automated fastening is here: The QST-M-CT Modular Straight Nutrunner by Atlas Copco represents a technological leap, offering 40% higher speed than its predecessor and unprecedented flexibility. This Inline model is specifically designed for smart integration into robotic assembly lines and fixtured machines, maintaining the exact same footprint as existing QST models for a quick and easy upgrade.
The QST-M (“Modular”) series is built on an innovative modular concept that allows for precise adaptation to any application and simpler, more cost-effective maintenance (Sustainability through design). The nutrunner is equipped with a new, advanced torque transducer ensuring +/- 2.5% accuracy, significantly reducing the risk of recalls and quality issues. The new motor is not only faster but also more durable, enabling maintenance intervals of one million cycles. It features configurable LED lighting to provide clear visual feedback on tightening status and predictive maintenance alerts. QST-M-CT models cover a torque range of 2 to 350 Nm and fully interface with leading control systems: Power Focus 6000, PowerMACS 4000, and PFB.
