The QST-M-COT Modular Offset Nutrunner is Atlas Copco’s ultimate solution for accessibility challenges in automated assembly lines. Combining an offset tightening head with the new modular technology of the QST-M series allows access to bolts located in tight spaces or close to sidewalls, without compromising on speed or precision.
The QST-M-COT model offers all the benefits of the new generation: a 40% faster motor for reduced cycle times, an advanced torque transducer for +/- 2.5% accuracy, and a smart modular structure that simplifies maintenance and extends tool life (Sustainability through design). The offset configuration enables the design of Multi-Spindle systems with tight Center-to-Center spacing that is impossible with straight tools. The nutrunner features configurable 360-degree LED indicators for clear visual feedback and fully supports existing Power Focus 6000 and PowerMACS 4000 controllers. The wide torque range (2-350 Nm) provides maximum operational flexibility and suitability for a broad variety of applications.
Q: When should I choose the MCOT model?
A: When there is a physical space constraint above the bolt or when bolts are positioned very close to each other (short C-C distance), the offset model is the ideal solution.
