The portable SD lathes provide industrial performance for applications in which size, strength and precision are critical. Dual bearing sets maximize rigidity and support simultaneous spark-free cutting and beveling. This construction extends tool and machine life while producing accurate cuts and weld preparations. The outside-diameter-following tool block accommodates workpieces with up to ±1 inch of out-of-roundness, and the tool holder accepts standard 1-inch square tool bits.
