Lubbering L.ADU Sine-Feed micro-peck option for improved chip evacuation and surface quality in drilling and countersinking applications.
The Sine-Feed micro-peck solution combines periodic low-frequency axial spindle vibration with constant spindle advance to break long chips into micro chips and improve chip removal.
It is suitable even for piloted holes, helps vacuum away chips and dust, and reduces the risk of material damage – for example in a clean CFRP-to-titanium transition.
| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Principle | sine-like axial spindle vibration that breaks the chips |
| Amplitude (feed-dependent) | 0.17 – 0.27 mm |
| Frequency | 1.5 strokes per rotation |
| Compatibility | all L.ADU pneumatic drilling units, incl. one-shot drilling and countersinking |
| Dry cutting | possible (without MQL System) |
What is the Sine-Feed option for?
