
The WJ19P is a hydraulic lifting wedge tool kit used to lift heavy loads that have a small access gap under the load.
The WJ tools are a popular choice when lifting and moving heavy workshop machinery and can be used in conjunction with skates and when leveling heavy gearboxes or process machinery.
The kit contains a WJ19P lifting wedge Tool, stepped block and safety block everything required to operate the tool safely, it is packaged in a robust carry case for easy transport and storage.
The WJ19P:
Requires a minimum access gap of 9.5 mm (0.37”)
The WJ19P produces a maximum lifting force of 183kN (41,140 lbf) when the maximum hydraulic pressure of 700 bar (10,000 PSI) is applied
A powerful and portable Hydraulic tool, the WJ19P weighs only 9.5 Kg (20.9 lbs) if a greater lifting force is required multiple tools can be used.
The WJ19 tool is design to enter the gap below a load to push the load upwards to increase access for a secondary lifting/moving device or to enable levelling of the load / machine.
The WJ19 tools can be used in any orientation so they can also be used to push loads provided there is a suitable surface to react against often utilised in the construction industry for accurate alignment of sections.
They are also used in flange spreading and dismantling applications where there are dissimilar flange diameters or flanges connected to valve blocks.
It is highly recommended that multiple tools are used to ensure stability.
The WJ19 is actuated by hydraulic pressure that pushes a piston creating a linear force on the internal wedge – the internal wedge then forces the top plate of the tool away from the body creating a pushing force.
Using high pressure hydraulics allows the operator to generate very high spreading forces through the integral pump and cylinder in the WJ19P Tool – this removes the requirement for an external power source.
The Tool is lightweight and portable making it ideal for use in remote locations.
If more force is required greater multiples of tools can be used.
