Mechanical Valve Removal and Flange Spreading Tool RenQuip RAPTOR-6MI

Mechanical valve removal and flange spreading kit that grips the flange bolt holes, with no access gap required between the flange faces. Includes two tools, a torque wrench and imperial grip pins, delivering a combined spreading force of 60 kN.

Mechanical Valve Removal and Flange Spreading Tool RenQuip RAPTOR-6MI

The RenQuip RAPTOR-6MI kit opens flange joints for the replacement of valves, spades, spacers, blinds, seal rings and gaskets. The tools grip the bolt holes in both flanges and pull them apart, so no initial access gap is needed between the flange faces.

Mechanical actuation uses the torque wrench supplied with the kit. The two tools deliver a combined spreading force of 60 kN, with 30 kN per tool, at a maximum applied torque of 60 N·m. Working on opposite sides of the joint helps maintain parallel flange separation.

A robust moulded carry case holds the actuator and reaction assemblies, spacer bar assemblies and imperial grip pins. The portable design and 8 kg tool weight support transport to maintenance work in remote locations.

Key features

  • Bolt-hole grip: separates flange joints without an access gap between the flange faces.
  • Mechanical actuation: applied torque is controlled with the supplied torque wrench.
  • Two-tool kit: supports gradual, even loading on opposite sides of the joint.
  • Three imperial grip-pin sizes: 3/4, 7/8 and 1 inch, selected for the flange size and class.
  • Dedicated carry case: keeps kit components organised for transport and storage.
