L.SP3 is Lubbering’s standard programme of modular fastening components, including geared offset heads and add-ons that can be combined individually as needed.
The system offers a wide range of variations, high availability and easy maintenance, with configuration for every application through a modular setup.
The closed geared offset head is designed for fastening nuts and bolts. It grants access to screw connections in hard-to-reach places and transfers the required torque. Available in standard or inline designs, in lengths of 2, 3, 4 or 6 gear stages, and with modules 12, 22, 35, 55, 85, 140, 190 and 250. Torque transmission accuracy up to ±6%.
The open geared offset head is designed for fastening pipes and hoses using fittings. It is suitable for both clockwise and counterclockwise rotation, with a uniform housing for all interface types, a compact ergonomic design and a highly modular structure. Available in standard or inline designs, in lengths of 2, 3, 4 or 6 gear stages, and with modules 12, 22, 35, 55, 85, 140, 190 and 250.
L.SP3 special access are custom-developed and custom-produced heads for almost every fastening application. They are suitable for automotive, aerospace, shipbuilding, white goods and more. The heads can be ordered in custom dimensions, with special production specific to the application. Example applications include exhaust pipe bracket, electric motor assembly, gearbox fastening, brake caliper, frame fastening, rear axle pivot bearings, washing drum, track rod end, battery clamp, valve cover, front flap hinge, wing assembly and cockpit.
L.SP3 touch includes output sockets with a wide range of output profiles: HEX, DH, AF, BH, SFD, DSD, PF, NH, SD, Torx E, Torx TX, IVZ/AVZ, two-flat, octagon and DIN 5480 plug-in gearing. Holder H or HD options are available, with operation in both rotation directions and different lengths.
L.SP3 angle includes angle heads in 90 and 110 degrees, with two standard transmission ratios i=1.45 and i=2.0. They connect directly to L.SP3 access heads without a separate adapter. A Stand-Alone version is also available with accuracy ±4% and use of conventional sockets. L.SP3 angle HD includes a hollow polygon shaft accommodating various holder systems plus an outer hexagon for different nuts, ideal when the bolt must be held to avoid twisting while the nut is fastened. L.SP3 angle touch includes bit holder profiles in 90/110 degrees with three bit holding systems – locking ring, cap nut and quick-change – plus flush sockets with various output profiles and profile depths.
L.SP3 connect includes optional connection elements for reaction torque support, return ring and indexing. The elements are intended to complete the system according to application requirements.
Protection is available via silicone-free protective rubber coating, removable and changeable, or via permanent vulcanization. The solution helps adapt protection to the required structure and use.
The projecting set is a configurable trial set that is easy to assemble and simple and fast to use. The entire fastening system can be configured online with the L.SP3 configurator, from output sockets to drive units from many manufacturers.
