The AT4K-1.8K is a mechanical alignment tool kit used to align bolted flanges to aid the insertion or removal of the flange bolts.The kit contains an AT4-1.8 alignment tool and all items required to operate the tool safely, it is packaged in a robust carry case for easy transport and storage.
The AT4K-1.8K can correct or prevent:
Linear Misalignment – when the axis of the flanges are not aligned.
Rotational Misalignment – when the axis of the flanges are aligned but the bolt holes are not aligned.
The AT4K-1.8K produces a maximum alignment force of 18kN (4,046 lbf) when the maximum torque of 30 Nm (22 lbf*ft) is applied with the Torque Wrench provided. A powerful and portable tool, the AT4-1.8 weighs only 8 Kg (17.6 lbs) and is the correct tool for medium and small sized flange joints.
The AT4K-1.8K is a mechanical flange alignment tool that is actuated by hand using a torque wrench included in the kit. It is used to apply an alignment force on the circumference of a flange whilst reacting against the bolt hole of the mating flange – this tool removes the requirement for rigging and anchor points used in traditional methods. The wing on the tool is mounted on roller bearings, this allows the tool to be used to prevent misalignment during flange spreading.

The Tool is lightweight and portable making it ideal for use in remote locations.
If more force is required multiple tools can be used.
