AutoChanger is designed to work with Mirka AIROS 650S, AIROS 550S and AIROS 350S sanding heads.
How the Mirka AutoChanger Works
The system is available for 77, 125 and 150 mm abrasive discs and integrates directly into a Mirka robotic sanding system.
The robotic sanding head picks a fresh abrasive from a magazine loaded with pre-packed cartridges. Several magazines can be installed side by side. Each magazine holds 150 to 250 abrasives depending on the product, and a safety switch verifies that the cassette is correctly seated.
After the programmed number of sanding cycles, the tool discards the used abrasive in a dedicated remover and picks a fresh disc. The sequence repeats reliably throughout production.
